3M™ PELTOR™ WS™ Adapter G3, Ground Mechanic for aircraft pushback operation. WS Adapter G3, Ground Mechanic, together with a Peltor WS enabled headset, creates a wireless connection between the aircraft's pilot and the ground crew while performing pushback operation. Equipped with a rechargeable battery pack, that is removable for easy charging and continuous operation.

The newly designed IP54 certified casing has a robust but still an easy-to-use solution with a 2-button operation, voice guide and clear LED status indication. Equipped with a rechargeable battery pack, that is removable for easy charging and continuous operation and reduces waste by eliminating disposable batteries. The battery provides up to 190 hours of continuous operation. Check the battery status via a separate button, where three green LED indicators provide the current charge level.

This new iteration of 3M Peltors Ground Mechanic Adapter has improved sound quality with the introduction of wideband audio, which gives you a more natural sound and better perception in noisy environments. Furthermore, they have lowered the latency and enhanced the duplex function to give added performance. A new voice guide alerts the pilot if the ground crew loses connection with the aircraft.

Newly designed safety hook attaches to the adapter via a double looped nylon strap, which can add extra security and reduce the risk that the adapter will fall off the aircraft body with lost communication as a result. The size of the hook provides a variety of attachment points on the aircraft body. Connecting cable has a newly developed connector strain relief with an enlarged grip area for easily disconnecting from the aircraft, even with the use of winter gloves, and at the same time enhances the durability of the connector. The etended cable length better fits wide body aircraft.
